Introduction

The AWS Current Month is available on the customer portal for the AWS cloud set of reports. Details of the AWS cloud consumption amounts for the current month are depicted in this report.

Charts

This report shows four charts.

• Amount - Current and Previous Month
  Shows the daily AWS consumption amount for the current and previous months. The chart allows you to compare the spend on any given date in the current month with the same date in the previous month. The bars correspond to the daily amount. The scale for the bar chart is shown on the left. The two lines correspond to the month-to-date cumulative amount for the current and previous months. The scale for the line chart is shown on the right.

  Tooltip: The tooltip shows the date in view for the current and previous months along with the amount for those dates and the cumulative amount up to those dates.

• Amount by Account ID
  Shows the AWS amount for the current month grouped by the AWS master/linked account IDs.

  Tooltip: The tooltip shows the account ID and the amount corresponding to it.

• Amount by Service Name
  Shows the AWS amount for the current month grouped by AWS service names.

  Tooltip: The tooltip shows the service name and the amount corresponding to it.

• Amount by Usage Type
  Shows the AWS amount for the current month grouped by usage types.

  Tooltip: The tooltip shows the usage type and the amount corresponding to it.

Filters

Selecting a data point on one of the charts will filter the results on all the other charts. Apart from that, there are some standard filters provided in this report.

• Account ID
  Allows you to filter results by selecting one or more account IDs.

• Service Name
  Allows you to filter results by selecting one or more service names.

• Usage Type
  Allows you to filter results by selecting one or more usage types.

• Item Type
  Allows you to filter results by selecting one or more item types.

• Location
  Allows you to filter results by selecting one or more locations.

• Item Operation
  Allows you to filter results by selecting one or more item operations.

• Tag filter
  This filter is specific to a resource tag setup by your service provider.
